Dr. Galen J. Staley
Dr. Galen Staley says, “We want our patients feeling good about themselves, knowing that we care who they are. Our primary purpose is to improve their quality of life.” This goal of his dental office is what he thinks sets it apart. Since his youth, Dr. Staley has always wanted to be a dentist because he enjoys being able to help people.
Dr. Staley has been with Family Dental Health Center since 1993. He came from Creighton Dental School in Omaha Nebraska, where he earned his DDS and graduated with honors. His education continues, as new products and services become available, so he can continue to provide the best overall health care for his patients.
Dr. Staley and his wife have five daughters, one son and a granddaughter; all who occupy their share of his time when he’s not working in his yard, a favorite past time.
Our employees love each other, and enjoy what they do. Everything they do significantly impacts the lives of those they serve. Dr. Staley is grateful for the wonderful people and positive environment he has to work with. |

Dr. Bryce Burtenshaw
Dr. Bryce A. Burtenshaw graduated from Case Western Reserve School of Dentistry in Cleveland, Ohio in May of 2002. He was awarded the “Deans Award for Clinical Excellence” as one of three seniors who demonstrated high clinical knowledge and aptitude. Upon graduation he returned to Idaho Falls, and began practicing dentistry with Family Dental Health Center. He is diligent in continuing education to stay current with philosophy, technology and science in the evolving world of dentistry. Dr. Burtenshaw invests over a 50 hours of continuing education each year to achieve such proficiency.
Dr. Bryce is married and has 4 children. He participates and is a member in the local, state and American Dental Association. He is an advocate for education and works behind the scenes in trying to create a better community in Idaho Falls. “I’ve been given a lot to get me where I’m at today. I believe everybody needs help at some point in their life. I hope the little things that I do in our local school district and community can impact someone’s life for the better.”
He is actively involved in the scouting program and participates with his kid’s soccer programs. He enjoys “adventure” and is constantly trying new hobbies. He enjoys all aspects of owning and working in a dental practice, and finds his work professionally and personally exciting. |

Dr. T. Brook Summers
Dr. T. Brook Summers graduated from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California in June 2004. Prior to dental school he attended Ricks College and Idaho State University, where he received his Bachelors in Zoology. University of the Pacific gave Dr. Summers the training and knowledge of preventative dentistry, restorative, crown and bridge, endodontics, oral surgery, and placing and restoring dental implants.
After graduation, Dr. Summers practiced in Boise, Idaho before joining Family Dental Health Center in March 2005. Dr. Summers continues to attend seminars to bring his patients the latest treatment available. He enjoys golfing, playing tennis, and snowmobiling, but mostly spending his time with his wife and four children. |
